Lotus blossoms are signs of rebirth . . . so what more appropriate symbol of the rebirth of the All Over the World blog than photos of lotus blossoms? We have been very occupied moving back to the US, getting David a total hip replacement, and settling into our new home and job in Washington. The blog has been on vacation. Last weekend, we took a long-awaited trip to see the beautiful lotus blossoms at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in DC. What a beautiful day with Heather. It's the right time to open up the blog again to post photos and stories about our new Foreign Service post, Washington, DC.
