Llamas in the Andes

Spending our 29th anniversary weekend high in the Andes just outside Cuenca, Ecuador.  On a hike along streams and waterfalls, we came upon a herd of llamas and a couple deer who were as curious about us as we were about them!

We had a marvellous time touring Rio's most famous sites, Ipanema, Copacabana, Sugar Loaf Mountain, and the iconic Christ the Redeemer.  Even though it was overcast, the clouds created some nice effects.
