A time to remember the lives and sacrifices of so many, including family.  Just this month, we lost dear Aunt Mildred who served honorably in WWII.  We spent part of this special weekend visiting our parents' grave sites and other venues to remember and reflect.

Into the Loving Arms of Our California Family

 Since our return to America two weeks ago today, we have enjoyed an incredible welcoming embrace from family and friends.  On the coast of California, we were blessed to visit with my aunt Mildred Nolan, in a hospital in Palo Alto.  At 94, she is as lively as people half her age, and filled with warm welcoming goodness.  Her hospital helpers all loved her, as we do.  We also visited the Los Angeles Kimballs, Chase's brother Peter and kids Bracken and Lincoln.  Wife and mother Dr. Anne Bennett was on duty as an M.D. at another hospital.  We gave thanks for family and for the wonderful care provided by medical professionals, we are in awe of Mildred's strength of character, and we pray daily for our aunt in her health challenges.
