The Women's March on Washington was only the first of many demonstrations of discontent and disagreement with the new Trump Administration, and it was a doozy!! Hundreds of thousands of women and men took to the streets of Washington, and millions worldwide to protest Trump's announced policies, politics, and personnel.  Already the new administration has motivated progressives, the women's movement, minority communities, immigrants, environmentalists, and many others.  Here are some views of the March.

A New American Dawn

We are witness to history.  January 20 and 21, 2017 will likely go down as some of the most significant days in the history of the United States and the world.  The inauguration of Donald Trump followed by the massive Women's March on Washington has been a cacophony of contending voices and emotions, with global implications; we've tried to record it in pictures here.  We are right in the middle of it all!

We spent Martin Luther King's birthday holiday cleaning dormitories and serving lunches to homeless men at Central Union Mission in downtown DC, then being inspired by a special MLK church service at the Washington National Cathedral.  An awesome day!
