| ChiChi in the red shirt had a Hole in One yesterday! |

I thought it might be tough to out-do last weekend's deep sea fishing trip for demonstrating the risks of a total lack of adult supervision . . . Shelly's been in the USA for 17 days (count 'em--17!), but this weekend's been another blast. Can you imagine 54 holes of golf at the Cuenca Tennis and Golf Club high in the Andes? The air is so rarified, the ball travels at warp speed to its intended target . . . (except when, like me, you have a handicap of 36). My golf buddy, Carlos and I teamed up with ChiChi and Ivan for a great round of golf today. ChiChi is so good he sunk a Hole in One on the 18th yesterday! This is Carnaval weekend in South America, so we have 4 days off . . . what will we do on Tuesday? Another 18 holes at our steamy, humid home course at La Costa in Guayaquil. If you see my wife, please do tell Shelly that I miss her so, and to hurry back for some much-needed supervision!
