Hippie Heaven without the drugs!!!! Just a few kilometers from the Ecuador coast, in the midst of a dense jungle lies the healing and healthy Bromelia Lodge resort. For my fourth weekend without adult supervision, I spent the Presidents' Day holiday at Bromelia. Run by the highly energetic Tito, the site offered massage, meditation, Reiki treatments, aura balancing, natural foods, bonfire cleansing ceremonies, and card readings. I did all of that, and came away an evolved human being in just 3 days. There was a constant flow of very interesting guests, visitors, and invited shamans. A combination of eastern religions, Mayan spirituality, and just plain healthy living deep in the Ecuadorian jungle. The strongest substances were fresh ginger infused bottled water.
What a trip!!!
