What better way to get inspired for the next decade than to go to the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial on the MLK Holiday and my 60th birthday? A beautiful day that brought back memories of the same date 5 years ago when we celebrated the inauguration of the 44th President of the United States just a mile up the National Mall. At 60, I am thrilled to be working as a diplomat, doing what I can to advance globally the causes and ideals that great people like Dr. King have advocated.
