Argentina Steakhouse

Life is too short to drink bad wine
Spoiler alert---if you are a vegan or vegetarian (as I used to be), you may want to skip this post.  On our first night in Buenos Aires, we dined at one of the city's most popular steakhouses, Don Julio.  To be fair, steakhouses in BA are like New Mexican food restaurants in Albuquerque . . . there's one in every block.  Our taxi driver told us that there was no one best steakhouse in the city, they're all good.  That certainly was the case with Don Julio's.  Wonderful tasting beef cooked to perfection.  Besides great food, we're enjoying the brisk fall weather . . . a welcome break from our lives in the humid tropics! Here are som Buenos Aires shots . . .
Shelly and the Manmaid or Merman whatever
Don Julio's walls are lined with wine bottles
from  happy customers who wrote comments on them

Getting our bearings before beef

Toast!

Another 30th anniversary celebration

The customers at the next table consented to me
taking photos of their prime rib and sirloins . . .  huge!
Highly recommend this Buenos Aires steakhouse
