Happy Bananiversary!!!

Feliz Bananavidad!

My brother Jay and his wife Elena today celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary.  I was one of two witnesses at their civil ceremony in Texas 30 years ago today, and in many ways it seems like just yesterday.  They are an incredible loving couple and we are so pleased to be hosting them for the special occasion here in Ecuador! Sister in law Elena has a special affection for bananas, so we took the celebrating couple for a special banana plantation tour.  Walked the fields, worked in the banana processing plant, and had a wonderful lunch in the plantation owner's home.  It was a great, hands-on experience taking a stalk of bananas from the banana plant in the field all the way to the shipping box.  Great fun with great people, and we couldn't be happier that Elena, Jay and Moses are here with us for the celebration! Happy 30th Bananiversary!!!
